Our Community
Education and innovation have been hallmarks of Cupertino since its incorporation in 1955.
Award-winning public schools and close proximity to technology jobs make Cupertino a sought-after home for a highly educated and culturally diverse population. More than 60 percent of residents aged 25 years or older hold a bachelor’s degree or higher, and more than 40 percent were born outside of the United States. In 2015, Forbes ranked Cupertino as one of the most educated places in the U.S. in respect to the percentage of high school and college graduates.
Cupertino is the nation's 11th wealthiest city with a population over 50,000. It is home to many technology companies, most notably Apple Inc.
